Compared to standard USB cables limited to 5V, our 24V PoweredUSB Male to Female Extension Cable combines both power and data lines in a single cable. In other words, it can deliver 24V power while supporting USB communication, enabling reliable operation of high-power peripherals such as POS printers, barcode scanners, and cash registers.

The simplest way to identify them is by the color of the plastic housing inside the connector:
